“ON FEBRUARY 21, 2019 CITY OF CHICAGO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH (CDPH) INSPECTOR FELIPE GARCIA (I) ARRIVED AT THE ENTRANCE OF 4000-10 S. DAMEN AVE. TO DO A FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION OF FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING CITATIONS.

UPON ARRIVING AT THE EASEMENT ENTRANCE AT 2075 W. 43RD ST., I WAS BLOCK BY AN EMPLOYEE OF T B LIMITED, IN A DARK COLORED TOYOTA CAMRY. I TOLD THE EMPLOYEE THAT I WAS A CITY INSPECTOR HERE TO DO A FOLLOW-UP COMPLAINT, BUT HE WOULDN?T LET ME IN. I THEN CALLED THE CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT (CPD) TO GET ASSISTANCE TO ENTER THE PROPERTY.

BEFORE CPD ARRIVED TO ASSIST ME ANTHONY TADIN, FROM T B LIMITED ARRIVED AND ESCORTED ME INTO THE PROPERTY. I OBSERVED THAT T B LIMITED HAD REMOVED APPROXIMATELY 600 TO 650 CUBIC YARDS OF MIXED C D DEBRIS WASTE PILES, PREVIOUSLY DUMPED THERE. THE ONLY PILES OF DEBRIS THAT WERE LEFT WERE THE TWO HUGE PILES OF LIMESTONE AND A 300 CUBIC YARDS PILE OF EXCAVATED SAND. AS I WAS LEAVING THE PROPERTY CPD OFFICER NEGRON BEAT #928, ARRIVED AND I TOLD HIM THAT THE OWNERS FINALLY CO-OPERATED AND LET ME ONTO THE PROPERTY.”,
